Adding an elevator and or lifts to your home can be a scary and expensive proposition. However, the folks at Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators were very professional in helping us understand what our options were. Their prices were very competitive with others I looked at. Their installation was as promised with no hidden costs. We purchased both a lift and an elevator to assist our wheelchair bound brother get around our home. The units have performed flawlessly with minimal learning curve on our part. We now feel like the folks at Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators are part of our family.

Idaho Custom Elevators has done a great job of repairing and maintaining the elevator in our building. Another company installed the elevator, but Jason has spent a good deal of time repairing and bringing it to a functional state. I really appreciate his honest and reliable work. In building our new home in Sun Valley, we had the pleasure to work with Idaho Custom Elevator. From choosing the right elevator through installation, we found Idaho Custom Elevator’s staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful. They were always quick to respond and very thorough. Our elevator is exactly what we wanted.
We are always thrilled with the excellent customer service provided by Idaho Custom Elevators. As a small non-profit, we appreciate that they let us know about upcoming maintenance so we can budget for it. Jennifer is always a joy to speak with on the phone, is wonderful about keeping us up to date with state regulations and helping us understand and complete the paperwork involved. We are very thankful to have such a pleasant to work with, trustworthy and reliable company to service our lift!
I had issues with my residential elevator. The company that installed the elevator wouldn't commit to fixing it even though I had a service contract with them. I panicked, as I thought I had to have the company that installed the elevator, fix it and I had no other options. My existing company said the elevator broke due to over use.
To make matters even worse, my wife was injured and couldn't use our stairs without extreme pain. I emailed every elevator company that serviced our area. I got an immediate reply from Jason and his wife, Jennifer, offering to visit on Monday to check things out for me. I was shocked how concerned they were about my wife's health.
They arrived on Monday promptly on time. Gave me a price to complete the repairs that was 1/3 the price quoted by the company that installed the elevator, with a promise to do the repairs as soon as the parts arrived, which was a week later. They said that the elevator broke not due to overuse, but rather due to poor work done by the prior company, and said these elevators are bullet proof if installed and serviced properly.
One week later, they arrived, and fixed the elevator. Even though it took longer than quoted, they held the price quoted, even though I insisted on paying the actual hours. When the bill arrived, it was for the initial quote, not the actual hours.
I moved my service contract to Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators, which was a no-brainer as it is cancelable by me whenever I want, no long term contracts.
I compared Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators to all the other providers. By far, they were not only the least expensive, but the best and only one willing to commit to a fair price and timeframe to fix it. Initially, I was a bit concerned that they were a small company and wouldn't be able to address my issues as they came up, but nothing could be further from the truth.

was hard enough for them but you all made it easier with the lifts and taking time with my dad to explain the safety touch points and operation of the lifts.
I appreciate your patience with us as we figured out the best approach with what worked for my dad and most especially how communicative you were with what would
suit my dad’s needs, bids, delivery, updates and install. It all went so smooth and my parents were very satisfied with the process and you never tried to up-sell them on something they didn’t need.

We had an elevator installed by Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators, and couldn't be happier!!! The project took way longer than anticipated, but it was NOT due to any fault on the part of ICL&E. The delays were in the construction of the shaft which required fairly extensive work on both levels.
We were almost out of ideas, when Jennifer and ICL&E came to our "rescue". She envisioned a placement and design as well as a fantastic manufacturer of elevators that would work for us, and it absolutely has!
The owners, the management and every single craftsman from ICL&E that came to our home showed the utmost respect for our property and the protection of it. And, they showed the utmost in courtesy and respect for all with whom they came in contact.
If anyone is looking for a residential (or commercial) elevator we give Idaho Custom Lifts & Elevators the highest recommendation we could possibly give!!
NOTE: The elevator we installed is a Savaria Eclipse with two floor stops. After a career that included design, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and control systems on very large equipment and facilities, I can truly say I've never seen any product any better thought out, engineered and manufactured than the elevator Savaria delivered in the Eclipse model we now enjoy.

We absolutely LOVE our new elevator! We have a narrow lake house on three levels, with no main floor bedrooms. So it has been wonderful having access for elderly family and other house guests, plus our own heavy gear, beach toys, supplies, and suitcases. The entire team was great, prepared detailed plans and bids, delivered all the equipment, communicated with scheduling and work timelines, plus they were very professional in their entire installation and completion. And it works great! We highly recommend them for anyone's elevator needs!
