Stair Chairs are one of the easiest ways to stay in your home and enjoy the freedom of barrier‑free living. Installed on your stairs, the stair chair carries you smoothly and quietly up a straight flight of stairs.
The Savaria K2, with a weight capacity of 300 lbs, is uniquely compact – featuring the slimmest fold‑up dimension on the market at only 10 3/4″ wide – allowing easy access to the stairs when the chair is not in use. With safety features including a retractable seatbelt, overspeed governor, and obstacle sensor system, you can count on your Savaria stair chair. Finished in soft white with an unobtrusive design, the K2 blends easily into your home décor.
For added support, the Savaria K2+ offers an increased weight capacity of 350 lbs, providing a stronger option while maintaining the same smooth, quiet performance and trusted safety features.
